Our review on Ubik free mobile website maker
Easy to use and generous in templates, the free online mobile website builder Ubik is perfect for anyone willing to create mobile website with least economic, human and time costs.
Ubik based mobile page layouts seem to have a good compatibility with both feature phone and smartphone. By cons, they look to be too simple to dazzle on modern smartphones browser. In any case, the builder is likely to be more appropriate for text rich mobile websites such as blogs and news than for business mobile websites such as a retailer’s landing page .

Tutorial on Ubik cms
At the beginning, Ubik prompts about thirty prebuilt templates from which you can choose according to your design tastes and area of activity. Each template is made of a dozen of mobile pages for various purposes (Article & Gallery page, Gallery & List page, Gallery page, Contact page, Photo & Form page, Gallery & Contact page, etc.). Pages are themselves constituted of a set of modules having various functions (Text, Title, Image, Buttons, etc..).
Once a template is selected Ubik prompts you to choose pages you want to keep for your mobile website. Pages are then deployed and you can edit or reorder their contents by using the built-in wysiwyg editor. You may also add additional modules such as texts containers, title modules, RSS modules, gallery modules and so on, which are available at the top toolbar of Ubik’s mobile page editor.
If default pages is not enough for you, then, you may create a completely customized page by starting from a blank one and adding modules of your choice. Each module’s contents can be customized through corresponding filling forms.
You can at any times monitor the progress of your mobile website via the phone emulator located next to the page editor.
