YoMobi is great for business owners wishing to create showcase mobile websites (business showcase or product showcase). Indeed, not only the builder yields beautiful mobile websites but also, it is very practical at managing contents.
Moreover, YoMobi has a fairly large number of modules which cover most of the required features in mobile web development. More interestingly, YoMobi let developers and agencies create themselves mobile website and subsequently leave management right to third party users or to their own customers.
By cons, YoMobi isn’t quite effective in customizing design. That may not matter to someone who wants above and over all a mobile presence, but could be disadvantageous for those who wish a truly custom mobile website.
With regard to stability, I experienced some layout and preview bugs during my last test. However, I invite you to do the test yourself and share your experiences as many things have been surely improved since then.

How to build your own showcase mobile website
The YoMobi back-end editor interface is made of three panels:
- A module library panel
- A phone emulator for preview and
- A customization panel.
You can build your mobile website by following YoMobi’s guided wizard process as summarized below:
To start, you need to specify some general information about your mobile website including your mobile website description, your contact information and your logo.
Then you land on the customization panel [See Mobile website builder tab] where you can customize separately contents of all modules embedded in your mobile website. Several types of modules are available and their functions may vary from one module to another. For example, some modules are for custom contents (i.e. custom text) while others are used as Contact page or as Product page.
You can get your whole mobile website site simply by customizing contents of various modules that come with YoMobi’s default mobile template. Generally, each module will correspond to a specific page of your mobile website and is represented at the mobile website homepage by a given icon. Exceptionally, for certain types of page such as Product page (i.e. Product module) or Service page (i.e. Service module), you can classify pages into many levels [Home page> Product Category Page> Product Page] by using Categorization modules. In that way, you can increase considerably the amount of your Product pages or Service pages without compromising navigability.
