Our review on Octomobi mobile site builder
Octomobi is very easy to use and has very nice and modern templates. The builder is highly recommended for business owners who want to get high quality mobile websites without willing to hire third party developers or designers.
The builder has the least necessary features for creating generic mobile websites (business showcase, product catalog, …). By cons, the number of features seems too fair for complex mobile projects. Moreover, as the design customization is limited to mainly Menu color, Text color and Background color, mobisites created on the platform are more likely to resemble each other despite the abundance of pre-built templates.
Summary
: Very easy to use, Beautifully designed, Several ready-to-use templates, Great for business showcase.
: Few available modules, Limited design customizability.

Tutorial on Octomobi
Octomobi back-end control interface consists of two panels side by side: one panel for editing mobisite’s contents and styles and another one for preview (phone emulator).
When you build a mobile website on Octomobi you should first select the layout you want to use among others available in the library. Each layout comes with a certain number of pre-assembled styles (Background, Bar color, Navigation menu layout, Navigation menu size, etc.) which will be progressively applied to all elements of your mobile website as they will be added.
When the layout is set, you need to select the features you want to include into your mobile website by dragging corresponding modules from the modules library and dropping them into the Editor panel. Generally, each added module will correspond to a page of your mobile website. You may therefore customize contents of any page by using the wysiwyg editor (or filling forms) that comes with each module.
Octomobi builds automatically your mobile homepage’s navigation menu according to existing pages in your mobile website. If you wish, you can sort the menu order by drag and drop and you can delete any of its elements by removing targeted module.
By default, Octomobi based mobile website use styles that are brought by the Layout you chose at the start of the process. However, if you like, you may customize your mobile website design by subsequently changing colors (Navigation menu color, Background color), images size, or page transition effect (Logo & Styling tab).
