Omfg mobile
Our review on Omfg mobile cms
Unlike its templates based competitors, the mobile web CMS Omfg mobile enables user to create his own mobile website with ease while being able to fully customize contents organization.
Delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS), Omfg mobile mobisite builder doesn’t require either own hosting nor software investment. The builder is available by subscription and can be handled from any web browser.
Thanks to its Call-to-action focused navigation menu. Omfg mobile web cms is very interesting if you are present on twitter and facebook or if you want to incentivise mobile users to send you emails or to make a call. The icing on the cake Omfg mobile creates automatically all of your contact pages (twitter page, contact form, click to call button, …) letting you then focus on the rest of your mobile website (About us page, Standard page, etc.).
By cons, Omfg mobisite default layout doesn’t look dazzling especially on modern smartphone. To get a beautiful mobisite, users may need to devote some times to optimizing the design after the contents are added. I would notice as well that I experienced some bugs during my last test. Anyway, I invite you to do the test yourself and share with us as things have surely improved since then.

How to use the mobile web cms
As a starting point, you need first to select the template of your choice among those available in the templates library. Each template comes with some setting parameters (styles, properties, colors, …) that will be applied to all of your pages and pages’ contents as they will be added.
When a template is set, you should add empty pages and customize each of them by adding modules (i.e. A single page may contain many modules) . Function vary from one module to another, it includes among other paragraph container, pictures container and link container. When modules are in place, you need to personalize all of them by submitting contents (pictures, text, link,…) through a corresponding filling form.
You can as well customize the design of your mobile website by editing separately modules’s properties (and sizes of buttons, text colors, …) or by changing the whole mobile website color setting (background, etc.).
Omfg mobile creates automatically your mobile website navigation menu according to your existing pages. Menus will be present at the top of all of your mobile pages including the homepage.
