Content Mobi

Content Mobi enables website owner to create a mobile friendly version of his existing website without having to rewrite everything from scratch. Mobilization is fully automated and its implementation doesn’t need either own hosting nor plug-in install on the original website.

The software is available by subscription and its back-end control panel can be handled by subscriber from any web browser.

Content Mobi has the advantage of being very easy to use while providing comprehensive modules (Click & Call , Mobile Map, etc.) for creating a fully mobile dedicated website.

To avoid unnecessary burdening of the generated mobisite, Content Mobi is equipped with a handy and scalable contents selector that enables the user to filter source website contents prior to their mobilization. And what is impressive is that, unlike most of competitors that require user to select element by element contents to be mobilized, Content Mobi prompt the user to simply define the types of elements (Title H1, Title H2, Paragraph, etc.) he want to import and then it takes care of rest of the mobilization process.

Content Mobi has its own built-in styles editor for customizing mobisite overall appearance (colors, background). Still, even if its design customisation tool is pretty enough to meet most business mobisites requirements, it seems to be too fair for those who need more advanced customizations.

As for the performance of conversion, the test I carried out was inconclusive. Only a portion of the website I tested was successfully mobilized. However, since results may vary from one website to another (depending on the source website technology), I invite you to try it with your own website and share with us your experiences.

Summary

PROS: Very easy to use, Users can select the type of contents they want to mobilize, Several pre-built templates.

CONS: Limited design customizability, Mobilization did not work during our test.
