World Around Me Lite
World Around Me is a location based Augmented Reality Mobile app that simplifies places search worldwide with visualization. WAM allows you to look for specific categories such as restaurants, banks, bars & pubs, cafes, clothing stores, doctors, gas stations, grocery stores, hotels, movie theaters, museums, parks, pharmacies and subway/metro stations with just one tap. Alternatively, you can WAM for specific places using it’s search feature.
WAM presents these places in an Augmented Reality(AR) view with billboards floating in the direction of the place, along with their ratings and distance from the user. Tapping on a billboard leads to a detailed description of the place along with useful links, contact number, address, user reviews and directions to that place.
WAM was rated as one of the best local guide apps by National Geographic Traveller.
