Using Ibuildapp
To create your mobile app, you will need first of all to choose your theme among those available on the marketplace. If you need a custom one you can create your own by using the template maker.
You land then on Build your app tab where you can customize the contents and the setting of your app. The Build your app tab contains two panels: the customization panel and app emulator.
When the theme is loaded on the Build your app tab, you can edit it by following the guided wizard as summarized below:
- On the Edit background and the Edit logo sections of the Customization Panel, you may specify the background color, the background image and the logo of your mobile app. Alternatively, you can jump over these steps and keep the default parameters as they are already optimized for your business category.
- Then, from the Manage Navigation tab you need to customize your app homepage by personalizing the welcome message, the header texts and the navigation menu. You will need, among other things, edit the menu titles, the menu backgrounds and menus’ icons.
- On the Manage content tab, you can personalize each page of your mobile app by editing the relevant modules (1module = 1 page). The feature varies from one module to another, some modules are for example used as a click to action button (Click-to-call, Facebook share, etc.) while others are used to generate a whole page (Coupon page, RSS page, Html page, Map, Twitter page, …). To modify any module, you will simply need to click on the corresponding navigation menu on the phone emulator and fill out the relevant form when prompted.
When you are done with all the pages, you can go to the next tab and specify the SEO settings for your app (App title, app description, app icon) and then publish.
